It will soon be easier than ever to find Petuna’s award-winning Tasmanian Atlantic salmon and ocean trout, with the sought after products set to be stocked in Hill Street Grocer stores around the state from this week.
A new contract will see Petuna supply behind the glass chilled fresh salmon and ocean trout to all Hill Street stores in Tasmania.
Petuna’s Chief Executive, Ruben Alvarez, said it was a testament to the quality of Petuna’s responsibly farmed seafood that the boutique grocer decided to stock it.
“Petuna is committed to producing the highest quality, fresh seafood while responsibly maintaining the welfare of our fish and the health of the environments in which we operate,” Mr Alvarez said.
“Our products are certified to the highest standard, subscribing to worlds best practice in aquaculture operations.
“This means customers can be assured that when eating Petuna salmon or ocean trout, they are consuming a healthy, sustainable product, which has been responsibly farmed here in Tasmania.”
Sealord National Account Manager, Luke Freeman, said he was pleased to see the quality and flavour of Petuna’s Tasmanian-farmed products persuading the grocer to roll the products out in all stores.
